Monday:We FINALLY got to go see Batman and we loved it!!!
Robin and Brent had the boys and surprised us with an anniversary cake and card.
We got back too early and ruined that surprise! Oops.
Wednesday:Josh and Brent both had a game that we loudly cheered for (especially Robin). I love watching Josh play softball. It brings me back to our high school days when he played for Hammond High! He usually plays short stop, and I have to brag, it's rare that a ball escapes him! Look closely at his shin. OUCH.
The boys ride around on their bikes, play in the dirt,and climb the bleachers while we watch the game. Oh, and sweat uncontrollably.
We usually have dinner after the game with Robin, Brent & Kota. This particular evening, Robin chose Fleur de Lis, a hole in the wall pizza joint. Delish!This was our attempt at a family photo. 'nuff said.
Thursday: Josh, Ian & I enjoyed lunch at CPK of Perkins Rowe. YUM!We had the Mediterranean salad and BLT pizza on wheat. We highly recommend this place. It's a little pricey for lunch, but would be a great place for dinner.
I'd say we celebrated our anniversary and Ayden's b-day quite well. Don't forget that Ayden had school during all of these festivities. He slept very well at night!

What a fun and busy week! We finally got to see Batman too- or at least I did. Joe saw it right when it came out. Pretty good but oh so long! Can't wait to see Ayden's birthday pics and happy late anniversary!
we have a CPK here and it is so yummy. i heard they were opening one in B.R., but then put the plans on hold...i guess they got the go ahead.

Im impressed. Shortstop is no joke for a big guy. Thats the fastest spot on the field imo. Ayden will allways remember seeing you playing, too. That red shirt will be a long term memory, even if he didnt pay that much attention to the game. We still didnt see batman yet. Probably wont until we can rent it on bluray. I cant wait.
Busy folks lot going on for you, I am so bored with my limited life right now. Boys look beyond their years on the bike together. Man these grandkids just grow up so fast these days!
I've heard California Pizza Kitchen is a must. I've got to check it out.
How fun! We haven't seen batman yet but want to. Chris loves to play softball to and plays twice a week. And his knees look just like Josh's..he loves to slide! We finally went out and bought a knee brace because he was coming home with such bad scratches!
We've never tried the CPK but what you got sounds good! Oh, and your dino cakes turned out SO CUTE! Great job!
Yay! Sweaty boys and sweaty husband! I bet the van smelled delicious on the way home:)
CPK is a great place. Jamaican Jerk is my favorite pizza.
