Bathroom Complete!

We went from this...
To THIS!!!
We put in the curved shower rod to create an illusion of a gigantic shower.
I found an awesome towel bar for a bargain at Tuesday Morning.
I haven't accessorised yet, so don't judge the lonesome towel.

I painted the cabinet to look "distressed".

Happy Father's Day!

We spent the evening breaking in Robin & Brent's new couch, and watching a disappointing baseball game.
Josh's manly gift
Before picture of what Josh did with his manly gift.
Results from the use of the manly gift.

Josh's confidence in projects around the house has grown tremendously since we've been homeowners and he's had some experience building. Who knew a vent hood could add so much to a kitchen? He had to cut out plywood to replace the bottom of the cabinet to mount the vent hood. He also had to do the wiring, which had me quite nervous. I was ready to dial 911 for either lost limbs or electrocution. Thanks to Jimbo for moral support, and Gerald for the first attempt and eagerness to help with the second attempt.

I had the boys with me when I bought his gift and card. That can't happen again, because as soon as Josh got home on Friday Ayden said, "Daddy, we got you your yellow tools!" AND "Daddy, we got a goofy card for you!!" No surprise for daddy-o.

Now an ode to Joshua. You are the best dad any kid could ever wish for! You are an amazing husband, I can't brag enough. I read a card that said "You are my prince charming. Our fairy tale is coming true." (Well, I think it was worded better than that, but you get the idea.) It's so true. I love our life, and it keeps getting better. I love you!

Mommy Can I Broke Da Ice?

I remember loving this game as a child. Now that I'm the one who has to put it together and collect all of the ice blocks after the 3 second demolition, I don't love it so much. It's fun to watch the boys' excitement though. ENJOY!

Robin Kate MANGUM!!!

Aren't they both fabulous?! Hot stuff.
The miniature bride, Peyton, and maid of honor, Meredith.
The miniature groom. That flower only lasted about 5 minutes!
Jeni made these shirts. Oh, AND she did all of the flowers. They were BEAUTIFUL!!
That's the only pictures I have. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of us when we were all dressed up. It was CRAZY trying to keep track of the boys. Poor Josh was on his own while we did the bridal party stuff. Anybody want to share some photos?

Well, yesterday, to commemorate D-day (not really) Robin and Brent finally got hitched. By finally, I mean we had a week long celebration with a pool party, slip-n-slide party, lingerie shower, bachelor party, and many small hangouts in between. We're so happy for these two! They threw a rockin' reception that people will talk about for years to come! We love you guys, and can't wait to spend time with you when you get back from your honeymoon. P.S. sorry my camera is so lame.

Ian's Stats At 15 Months

Our little "Pork Chop" (Paw-paw's latest nickname for him.)
Chunk-a-monk found a fun chair.

Ian is one of those kids worthy of a thousand nicknames. He's a little chunk and he growls at almost everyone. He prefers to be held by men. While we were in Idaho, my dad and brother both took turns putting him to sleep. Since we've been back home, he reaches for his daddy every time he sees or even hears him. It's so sweet, and I don't mind the break. He had his 15 month old well baby visit yesterday, and here's the stats:

Height: 32 inches / 75th percentile
Weight: 26 pounds 13 ounces / 75th percentile
Head Circumference: 49 centimeters / 90 percentile

My interpretation:
He's just like any baby boy should be; he's big, he's fat and has a colossal head!

We love our squishy boog!

Blogging Family

I want to direct your attention to my "fellow bloggers" list. My brother and sister with accompanying children are here in Idaho right now. We've been having a great time! Mom and dad bought matching shirts for all of the grandkids yesterday. Go to "Travis & Raegan" and "Lorna & Chuck" to see what we've been up to. My two younger sisters also blog. You can look at "Dixie & Markus" and "Nikki & Devon" to learn a little about them. My sisiter, Chani, is the only one without a blog. We're trying to convince her that she needs to start one. Today is our last day in Idaho. It is bittersweet. I always feel torn to pieces because we're so spread out. I wish I could teleport or whatever "Scotty" does to beam his buddies up. I'm tired of missing family. This has been a great couple of weeks. Out of the 20 days, mom only had a couple of rough ones. She has been so positive about what she's going through. I always imagined how I might feel if someone I loved had cancer. I thought it would be all depressing and solemn. It's not that way so far. She knows that she has cancer, but she's not letting herself believe that she is cancer. It is in her right now, but she's going to nip that in the bud. I love you mom! You're our inspiration. And anyone who knows me well enough knows that I love my daddy too!!! I'm so happy to have been able to see almost all of my family in segments while up here visiting mom and dad. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Life is beautiful!
