With the birth of my first daughter coming any moment NOW, I've been thinking a lot about fatherhood and as usual feeling a bit apprehensive. Anyway, I always go back to one of my favorite bands when I need some reassurance. Better Than Ezra ROCKS my universe. I first heard this song a long time ago and I've often thought about the power of the lyrics. The lead singer (Kevin) wrote this song before the birth of his first son. It's so true what he says!! You'll never feel more ALIVE and CLOSER to this LIFE as you do when you become a father. And it will be truly the ONE thing that you both did perfectly. Enjoy your children while they're young! Suck up each fleeting moment. They truly do bring us CLOSER to HEAVEN.
