These pictures might not be in chronological order, but you'll get the idea.
Basically, we've had 5 Easter Egg Hunts, 2 field trips, The Annual Easter Basket Scavenger Hunt, lots of outdoor water play and watermelon/Louisiana strawberry consumption over the past couple of weeks. Life is a whirlwind, and I'm trying my best to capture it all as it speeds by. This week the boys are on Easter Break, so we have less going on for a welcomed change.
Ian's Class Hunt. His teacher made the baskets out of milk jugs.
She invited all of the younger siblings, so Afton got to hunt too!
Ian said the sun was burning his eyes!
Ayden's class hunt. I had fun hiding every egg by myself!
We hunted for and dyed some eggs.
This was our church Egg hunt. Ayden takes great pictures nowadays.
There's the three of them.
I've figured out that I succeed better taking their pictures with the
"divide and conquer" concept.
In other words: it's such a headache to get my kids to all pose for a picture together, especially when outdoors.
Easter Sunday after church in their Sunday best.
See what I mean by "divide and conquer"?
Sunday evening we had some friends over for Easter Dinner.
I helped the kids make a fort so they could enjoy themselves while the adults hung out.
Ayden was buzzing around looking for inventive ways to improve the fort (of course)!
Watermelon and swimming in our backyard.
A new local sprinkler park.
Ruffle butt!
Is that the end?
Happy Easter, everyone!
We love you all!!

Fun! I love her ruffle butt swimsuit (I've been eying girl clothes lately :) It is so crazy how your kids look so much alike but then they look like themselves in their own way! Very cute kiddos!
Happy Easter to yall too! Where is that sprinkler park?! I want to go!
Looks like a busy easter for you. Im glad those kids got to have so many hunts. That is the best part of easter, well besides the whole Jesus wasn't in the tomb incident!
I bet they'll have Easter candy until Halloween comes! Looks like y'all had a lot of fun lately! Afton's rosy cheeks are adorable!
Tomb incident, Travis' humor is sooo Travis, makes me laugh everytime. So what growth hormones are you feeding those kids? Afton and Ian look a lot taller and Ayden is filling out more. Sound like y'all will be at the dentist tomorrow. Bery busy are not y'all.
Mom, too busy. I can't keep up with it all. These kids are growing up fast. Ayden has a bigger appetite these days. He'll get seconds sometimes. His height and weight are both in the 75th percentile.
Travis, you had me laughing hard! Dixie, Afton binges on candy like no other. When she gets going on candy, it looks like she's having her first meal after starving for days. There's no way this candy will last unless we hide it. We have the baskets on top of the living room bookshelves to keep her out.
Holy CRAP, I cannot WAIT to see all of you in July!!! Great post, I love seeing ANY pictures, good or bad.
