Ian's On the Move

I had to get the camera for this before I saved him.
This happened not long after the picture above. Babies forget fast.
These trappings are both the result of Ian's way of travel:
backwards scooting (video coming soon to a PC near you).
Quick random pic... Ayden drew a pretty nice number two all by himself!
I helped him with the one on the left, but he was solo with the right one.
(Yes, I shouldn't have used the flash-CRITICS!)

one day he will see this pic and remember it . and one day you will fall out of your wheelchair and he will take a pic of you before he helps you . LOL I think its funny I would have done the same as you did.

Poor Ian! It's terrifying being trapped by the dining room furniture- and it's merciless! Peyton can attest to that! Lately he's been toddling around under our table but nows he gotten too tall and keeps banging his poor noggin on the table top! I've had to rescue him a few times from the chair legs as well. Way to go Ayden for a fabulous #2! Remember how fun it was to learn something? YOu just wanted to do it all day long and show everyone. How fun!

The picture looks worse than it was. He actually folds himself in half like that a lot. He was sucking his thumb down there at one point.

Lexi, I still remember when I got too tall to walk on my maw-maw's countertop. My head started hitting the cabinets, and I would get so mad.

Ian's backward scooting cracks me up! It's so cute.

Its nice when they get stuck for awhile. You dont have to worry about them getting into things, giving you a chance to catch up on their previous messes.

I've been guilty of running for the camera before rescuing, too. Good job Ayden on the 2!

---babies aren't the only ones that forget easily, life is a challenge at every step (or scoot for Ian). Our blog is a challenge, but we can do it. Well, I give my support as cheerleader from a reclined position with the TV remote in hand. Stacy, you might have to help Mom.
