Memory Tag!!
1. Add a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. I can't wait to see what people remember.
It'll be fun! I tag all of y'all!

I haven't known you for long and I don't know you very well, but my favorite memory of you is doing the DDR at Maren's house. You showed us all up (not that we were any good)! And when we tried to do the harder ones--hilarious!
I have to say that I am very proud of you for tackling the bathroom by yourself. You did a great job and you could see the pride and sense of accomplishment in your face. so thats my memory.
Every moment with you is my favorite!!! I'm lucky enough to spend everyday with you. Man, I'm a cheeseball!!
Memories of my sis:
I remember you getting called "Devil Chin" on the dirty bus 30. And you getting so pissed at those idiots. I remember you peeing yourself in Travis's old room in the Ponchy house. I think you spilled a shake on your face and laughed so hard you peed yourself. I remember when you came back to Idaho for a bit after Young Americans and you had to stay in the garage. You had the worst haircut of your life and I tried so hard to be supportive and make you happy because I know you hated being there with you bad hair and stupid garage room. I remember always wanting to have your singing voice, it is so much more soulful than my fluffy light soprano voice. I remember when you used to have to wear head gear. Hahahaha! And I remember you throwing me off the top bunk in the middle of the night and I hit my head on a basketball hoop because we had one in our room for some reason??
I love you STACE! You've always made me laugh and you've always been a great example for me.
I remember that it took forever to meet you after y'all moved in. I had seen Josh outside a few times (and was still trying to figure out where i knew him from) but it wasn't until after Ian was born that i finally met you. I would see you going from house to car sometimes or vice versa, but you were never outside when i was outside. i finally got brave enough to come over and introduce myself and i am so glad i did!
One memory I have of you is when you were Tina Turner for the Road Show one year. It was so funny to see you in that costume with the wild hair.
I still have a small framed picture of all of us in our house!
Oh, and you did such a GREAT JOB at "being Tina"...I was impressed!
I remember the torture that the dentist put you through. I remember Nikki was pronounced Nikkue. You thought if you pee in your pants, you can rub dirt on it to dry it off, and you are good to keep on. Really, you were a hardcore kid. Very tough chick. I remember you saw me climb the rope, and it was all the instruction / incouragement you needed. You were so little, you looked like an ant on that branch. If you ever got down, flatman was allways there as a sounding board. He scared the shit outa me.
I remember when you and I and Jeni went shopping at Kohls together and you had kind of a hard time shopping for yourself. You kept saying Ayden would like this or Ian would like that. I could tell you were trying to be really thrifty when it came to yourself and you would rather buy for your kids. It touched my heart to see how much a mom loves her family and kids. Because out of every mom I know, I can't think of anyone who deserves to shop for herself more.
Chocolate Milk and Coke in the hospital....I have too many good memories! I remember watching Jesus Christ Superstar for the first time with you and Joshy....also almost peeing our pants (which seems to be a recurring thought in these memories?) watching Best In Show. The first time we hung out at the bishops house when you guys were babysitting their kids, and playing Apples to Apples.
But mainly just chillin' with you guys and watching you be amazing first time parents with Ayden...and being prego myself back then watching you and trying to soak it all in so that I would remember it all.
reading the tucks comment reminded me...a funny memory of me and josh is when we both took "the bible in fiction" or something like that at LSU, right after he got home from his mission...the Jesus Christ Superstar sparked that memory of that crazy professor and really crazy class!
Stacy, the life jacket came from Target. If you want to save $, you can borrow Tristan's. We won't need it any time soon.
My favorite Hutchinson memories are of playing board games with you guys. I loved playing that song lyric game and apples to apples.
Going further back, I remember doing mosiacs with you and Jamie on your front porch at your first apartment.
I also remember one time at that apt., when the missionaries lived a couple of doors down, Josh put a "sexy" Lionel Richie poster (which he found by the dumpster) on their door. I laughed so hard that I cried.
I love you guys and miss you!
i remember your headgear and how i always wished i could get braces too. (i still want braces) i remember the relationship you had with josh before his mission and how i always hoped to have something like that when i grew up. i remember you peed your pants ALL THE TIME! the story about the alley when you were going somewhere on a bus...i think it was young americans, but i'm not sure. you probably peed your pants all the time b/c you grew up and realized you couldn't just put dirt on yourself anymore.
So that is why your butt always had dirt on it, and the smell! I bribed you every which way to get you to pee in the pot, it was a losing battle you were such a strong-headed-urine-smellin' kid. I remember the long talks into the night, when you were a confused teenager. I was trying to fill your mind with Lorna-wisdom in how to manage in this difficult world.
Travis, I don't see a post on your blog, so here's my memories of you. Where do I start? I was your shadow for how many years? You were a great coach with video games and sports. You'd tell me to calm down and not think too much on the hard levels of Donkey Kong Country. Watching Batman cartoons after school, acting out "the Princess Bride" for the missionaries. Playing in the oak tree on McClellan. I think I have finally figured out all of the stories you told me about the world we live in. Silly things I can't remember anymore, but I used to say "What, that's not true?" about a lot of things that I thought were facts. It wasn't until recently that I finally cleared it all up! I always followed your advice like "never date a frat boy!" You and Chani were great older siblings! I love you both more than you'll ever know!
Paige, here's one for you. I love that we just started a new tradition: watching beauty pageants together! I love every time we get together. It's hard to single out just one event. You used to always bring us food when we were neighbors, "just because you and Gerald would never finish it all". You've given me gifts for no particular occasion (although, now that I think about it, you gave me a lot of lotions and perfumes.) Do I still reek of urine? I promise I'm potty trained now, people. Anyway, I love your style. I'm always secretly scoping out how you do your makeup!
I have never met Stacy personally, but I have seen a lot of photos and heard a ton about her from my good ole mission companion, Joshy Poo. My first memory of Josh is when I came off the train in Nice, France. He told me "Welcome to France, Big Boy!" We then went and got on a bus where an old woman yelled at me and Hutch just sat there and laughed. He then took me to our apartement, which was infested with roaches and hutch brand boogers all over the wall. We ate some bagettes and cheese. Hutch then made me contact ten people before we could go in. On the tenth contact we gave him the first discussion and a book of mormon. What a great time. That was my first exposure to the man that is HUTCH.
I can laugh at this now, but I remember when we would come to your guys apt off Jefferson Markus would always conveniently volunteer me to bring something. Well this time I brought the Milky Way Cake that I forgot to add water to. Do you remember who sunken in it was, but you and Josh didn't care and ate almost the whole thing because you claimed it still tasted good. :)
I remember one time when I was hanging out with you at the apartment on Highland (probably doing mosaics) and you told me all about Young Americans and showed me a video and I was super impressed that you were brave enough to do all of that stuff and impressed with all of your talent!
Oh, what to choose, what to choose?
I think my favorite is when I told you I was pregnant with Calyn and you ran and tackled me on the couch because you were so excited! Man, I love you.
hi twerp, one of my fondest memories of you is when i would come home after working off shore for seven days, you would cling to me like a tight shirt for an hour or so.when i asked you why you did this you riplied i'm madding you.i guess you thought i was abandoning you.love and miss you,DAD.
I loved the time we had book club at Jeni's friend's house and we were telling the story cause we were the only one's who read that crazy book. You kept laughing at me cause you said I was being crazy. ha
