I saw the googly eyes idea in "Parenting" magazine.You get the paper mache boxes from Hobby Lobby (currently 50% off), spray paint them black, and glue the eyes all over. I used elmers glue and flat finish craft spray paint also from Hobby Lobby. The little ghosts were made with my Aunt Oddie. She came over with black construction paper and white tempura paint. The left one is Ian's hand and the right is Ayden's. It looks more like a ghost if you keep their fingers and thumb close together. When the paint dries, you cut out some circles and glue them on. I have a lot of those little hands and plan on stringing them on a cute spiderweb ribbon.
Ian's current passtime. He loves that rocket and fire hat!Ayden was sitting with Josh in the living room and was listening in on the presidential elections being discussed on CNN. Out of nowhere, he said something about Sarah Palin. Then he listed all of the candidates. Naturally, I ran for the camera. Apparently there's been some discussion at school about the election. Enjoy! Oh, and notice how he corrects his order. I think Miss Vickers might be a republican.

That's an impressive knowledge of politics at such a young age. Can you get a video of Ayden explaining the bail-out to us? We're still not clear on how that works. Thanks! Good luck with your future politician and future fir fighter. I'm thinking Josh has enrolled Ayden in Fantasy Politics!
I love it! Isn't it amazing what they learn at school? That's definitely a video to give to CNN a few years down the road when Mr. Hutchinson is running for public office himself!!!

We were laughing so hard when we saw this...that boy is amazing I tell you. Amy's mom was even saying that most people can't remember that Joe Biden is in the race. Ayden just made most of the country look ridiculous. Most impressive.
Very good Ayden, now if only you could vote! I didn't know Ian fights fires in space?? What a cool job! Can you tell him to cool the sun down a little bit while he's up there? Precious!
