Bunk Bed

Our new bunk bed for the boys should be coming soon! They said between 12:00 and 2:00 today. I'm pacing the floors!!!! I had a productive morning after all. I thought I would be a zombie (see last post), but I guess I'm just too excited about this bed. It's just like the picture above, trundle and all (no mattresses or bedding included;). Now we have a place for the boys' friends to sleep when that time comes. I think I hear a big truck outside. BYE!
DOH! It was just the recycling truck. Come ON!

Brennan wants a bunk bed so bad...but I am nervous about dare devil Jack.
Hope it came, looks as good as you dreamed, and that they love it.

That is way cute and I know those boys are going to love it! Holly and I had bunk beds when we were kids. They were the kind that you could stack or unstack. We would have fun flipping off the top bunk when they were stacked.

Yay a bunk bed!! Maybe when Ayden gets older he'll through Ian off the top of it in the middle of the night like someone ELSE I know did to me:)

I just thought of other bunk bed memories: we used to pretend it was a ship and we would go fishing off of the top of it. We would use the retractable measuring tape as a fishing line.
And one time I ate an entire can of cheesey Pringles by myself. When I went to bed that night (on the top bunk) I puked up all those cheesey pringles over the side and onto Nikki who was resting peacefully on the bottom bunk.
ha!

Yes, those boys will have loads of good times with their bunk bed! Very exciting!

Where are those from? They are very cute! I am sure you'll have no problem shopping for or making new bedding to adorn them, right?! I don't know how you still have energy to put together those beds after the night you had!

Dixie didn't mention who ended up cleaning that mess in the middle of the night!!!!! And the chips weren't mentioned until days later, (Mom will just think I was having asthma trouble. Kids;o( Asthma helped out at times, remember how I told you kids to practice your asthma coughs while we were being pulled over for speeding for the umpteened time. "Yes sir, asthma attack, gotta get to the emergency room, fast!!!" Then we'd get a free police car excort to boot! (Excorts never happened, I lied, makes a good story, eh Chuck?)
We started off on Sisters Road with Chani and Travis on the bunks. They shared everything, cried when I made them quit taking baths together. I'm rambling. May the Hutchinsons have a blast with their bunk!

Hold the phone, we did get an excort when your Dad got pulled over, he used that line, pointing at poor little Travis. We were going to a Doctor for Charlie in Pocatello, and Travis did have asthma, but wasn't in an attack. Half truth??? We got an excort on the interstate the rest of the was to Pocatello!!
