Out Of the Mouths Of Babes

Tonight we added singing songs to our bedtime routine. Ayden's request was "I Am a Child Of God" which is a song that the children learn at church. We did just the first verse, and when we were finished he asked, "Mom, what's a stew?" At first I gave the obvious answer, "It's kinda like soup." But I then started wondering what made him ask such a random question. I thought through the lyrics of the first verse, and voila! Toward the end it goes "...teach me all that I must do" but he heard it as "teach me all that I'm a stew!" I'm still laughing.

Imagine what he was thinking! "Why in the world is He teaching us that we are a stew!!!" Too funny!

Ayden always thinking, life is always a bit confuzzin', write em all done while it is fresh on your mind. Laugh now and again and again later on when he has kids.
