This morning was chaotic for me. Sunday mornings are always busy with Josh leaving early for church meetings, leaving me with getting myself and all three kids ready for church by 8:45am. I'm late every Sunday. Today I was about 15 minutes late. When we got there, I couldn't sit with Brent like we planned-Robin & Brent always help me since Josh sits up front, but someone took our seat because of our tardiness- so I sat in the back corner by the folding wall that separates the chapel from the gym. The boys discovered that they could crawl behind the chairs and hide. They got too loud. We headed out to the foyer. We only lasted three minutes tops. Ian took off down the hall, then kept playing with the lights. He's been having a stuffy/snotty nose, so I decided to just go home. I wasn't going to let this spoil my morning. Afton is finally in size 3-6 month clothes and she was wearing my favorite dress off all with the cutest felt flower bow I've made so far, so when we got home I took her outside and took some pictures while the boys watched through the window so I wouldn't have to chase Ian down the street.

Wow...that one picture is beautiful.
what a crummy week...don't you wish some of those grannies would just take your kids and give you a break?
Yes I do!
She is so beautiful! If we have a girl, we're going broke because I'm doing it up this time!
I feel your pain about the kids/church/husband gone situation. Good for you for finding a way to still have a good day.
AND, when this baby is born and I'm not working, I will find my way over to your house to make some of the cool stuff that you make...even if it has to be boy-versioned!
What a pretty girl! And that is one pretty dress, too. That's so funny (and smart) that you left the boys inside. I can just see two little boy faces peering out the window. : )
I LOOOOVE that dress and the flower. She is such a sweetie and very smiley. Too cute! You make me wish I could dress up Nathaniel!
So sweet, she is always changing, growing fast. What a beautiful active family. Oh and those grannies would probably love to lend a hand. Some like me are far away from their grandkids and wouldn't mind having a grannie fix once in awhile. I even subbed in the 3 year old nursery a couple Sundays back and had a blast. Wore me out but it was quite lively and fun to say the least.
She is a doll! And I'm now glad we have a little doll of our own. I should be back in full force by next Sunday or so to help with the rascals. Love you!
Little Afton is so beautiful. Good pics Stace. Nice bow too. I can only imagine the chaos that would be church without a husband. In our ward, the bishop's wife has three little ones and everytime I look up the kids are sitting with someone new. The whole ward looks after them. It's so cute! Hang in there mama!
she is so beautiful!!! i wish i would have known you could have totally sat with us. i love those pictures of afton. do they have that dress in my size because i would totally wear that if i could.
Stacy and Josh, YOU MADE A GEORGEOUS LITTLE GIRL. She is perfect. I want to see y'all SO BAD!!!!
She is such a doll. I love her little dress!!
