For the past two weeks Afton has been sleeping so well. Until now, she has been the worst sleeper of my three. Ayden was our first child, so I didn't have anything to compare him to, but I think he was a decent sleeper. Ian spoiled us by sleeping all night from the beginning. I think he was only a few days old when he started sleeping 6-8 hours, then he found his thumb and would sleep all night. Afton was sleeping well at 5-6 months (8 hours) until we left for Florida, then Tennessee and messed up her routine. Finally, I got her back in her crib and sleeping 8 hours for a few days, then she extended her sleeping to a little over 12 hours!! I put her to bed around 8pm and I don't hear anything from her until 8 or 9 in the morning.The first night this happened I thought the baby monitor was broken and maybe she cried hysterically until she passed out with exhaustion. False! The baby monitor works just fine. This morning I finally went and checked on her after 9 because she still wasn't making a sound. These pictures are what I was greeted with. I think she wakes up and just hangs out in her crib. I hope she keeps this up.

So nice for you! I had a great sleeper but someone came and switched her out with a three hour baby.
Your little girl is very cute. I imagine she will also be tough having such energetic brothers.
Oh dear, this just reminds me that I have a long wait ahead of me before my baby sleeps the whole night! Good job Afton! Keep Mommy sane.

that is awesome! especially if you've never done any "sleep training." I was psycho about it with Jase and he was sleeping 8-12 hrs straight by 3 months. but it was TOUGH to do at first. i've heard that there are these babies that just sleep on their own! i hope my next is like THAT! afton is SOOO CUTE, by the way, and i love her bedding!
Thank goodness for good sleepers! That's so cute that she hangs out in her crib too.
Sometimes I will think that Chloe has been quiet WAY too long and I get that scared panicky feeling in the pit of my stomach; but when I go and check on her, she's just eating her feet or playing with her blanket!
I hope she keeps up the good sleeping for you. Chloe is a sleepy head- she's in bed at 5:30 p.m. and is out until 7:15 the next morning. Crazy!
