Okay. This post is for anyone who feels like they had a rough day to compare and contrast and realize that their day wasn't actually all that bad.
Recap.
The past few days/nights: Mom dealing with a clingy miserable baby with high fever (103 and 105 at one point) b/c of a bad ear infection.
This morning: Ian takes a fall at a friend's house off third step of back porch. Lands chin first, teeth cut through bottom lip. Abrasions all over his chin. Blood everywhere.
2pm: Mom has all three children with her at the allergy doctor to discuss egg issues with Ian and follow up with Ayden and his list of allergies. Ayden tries climbing feet first into the bottom basket of the double stroller (after already being told not to do so). Stroller falls on top of him. He splits his chin open on the floor. Doctor visit is abruptly ended and we scurry on over to the ER which is conveniently in the same building. Nurses recognize us and ask if we've been there recently. Jokes are made about both boys having bandaged chins and "thank goodness the third child is a girl." Ha ha. I'm laughing.
5pm: Finally heading home with two chin strapped kids, Ayden having three stitches to go along with it. Facing an evening without Josh at home until after bedtime. Lovely.

Your poor kids! And poor mom. Those kind of days are always so draining. Did you try the garlic oil remedy for the ear infection? It really works, and quickly. I hope you get some time to relax this evening.
Oh wow! Stacy that is rough! Just look at the brightside...tomorrow couldn't possibly be worse...at least I hope not!
WOW-I will never complain again! Girls are so different than boys! I'll take the whining anyday over a trip to the ER!

I have loved your last few posts! Just too busy to comment...I just thought I'd let you know that one of my FAVORITE quotes is Dr. Seuss'! AND that my last two days totally kick your crappy days' butts! But the outcome of them is worth it. :)
Ow-eee!! Everybody needs to take a nap! Glad you survived your day. I hope you didn't get any gray hairs from all this. Love y'all!
