Watch Out World, Here Comes Affie Baby!

Two big milestones happened for Afton this week. First, she learned how to get from crawling position to sitting up. The very next day she figured out how to pull to standing. The window pictures are actually her very first time doing it! I had the camera close enough to catch her in action. The GREAT thing is that when she loses her balance, she plops on her bum-bum instead of cracking her head open on our tile or wood floors.
What do you think is going through her head here?
Looking for daddy? A squirrel? The mailman? She's probably spotting a little rock or leaf that she will eat as soon as she gets let loose outside. (Speaking of eating non-food items: I found a tiny pink button in her poop the other day.)
I took out the boys' play piano for her to hold on to, which turned out to be a fun little jam session with her and Ian.
Here she is belting out a high note! Play it again, E.

Great looking kids!! I am sure Affie will be as wild and crazy as her brothers and dad...sorry Stacy, we don't know you that well to say you are wild and crazy, but I will go out on a limb and say you are.

i would guess that at about 4 years old she will be climbing up ropes tied to tree limbs 30 feet above the ground and leaning 2x4 studs against the fence and cooning up them to get out of the yard, just like her mom.yes phillips family she was a wild,no fear, child.

...And Affie's mom also has a nice scar on the top of her head that you should ask her about...DEFINITELY no fear. Afton's in for some pain I'd say. What a beautiful girl too! Can't believe she's never even met me yet! :( Now I know how all my distant aunts and uncles felt...

Yay Afton! You and Chloe should be friends!

P.S. Tell your Mama that she is a smokin' hot blue devil in that dress she wore for date night. :-) Lookin' good Stace!
