Ayden's First Piano Recital
He wasn't nervous at all.
He played his song perfectly.
Ayden Lost His First Tooth
Here it is nice and loose...
We were visiting family in Galveston without Daddy,
so we waited until we got back home the following night to put his tooth under his pillow.
The tooth fairy brought him a $2 bill and three golden $1 coins!!
Third milestone for Ayden: Responsibility. He earns allowance for making his own bed (25 cents), folding and putting away his own clothes ($1), and putting things away throughout the day (payment varies). He is very careful and precise with his shirt folding. I love watching him mature like this and he is so proud of himself when he does these chores. He saved enough money to pay halfsies for a real dirt buster so he can clean up messes in his room. (His request!) It comes in the mail tomorrow and he is elated about this.

He's getting so big! He looks so mature playing that piano! How awesome is it that he likes helping to clean! Must be nice for a mama :) Hopefully that never goes away...his wife will LOVE it one day!
Great milestones Ayden. Sounds like you are very responsible already, still very good looking even without a tooth and we have a piano waiting here that is lonely.
A real dirt buster! That is exciting!
I was always under the impression that piano teachers were old woman...but, in this case the teacher appears to be an old man. Maybe that is better for teaching little boys. Anyway, tell Ayden to keep up with the piano so he can play when he is on his mission.
So cute- Elodie did her piano recital in April and did a marvelous job also! I was so nervous for her because the piece required her to use both hands and play a few flat notes- we practiced for weeks! Did I mention the recital was the weekend after I had Evyn?! I put this huge poster above our piano that said "PRACTCIE EVERY DAY!" so that while I was in the hospital Elodie and Chris would remember to practice! She was flawless and we were so proud of her! LOve those moments! AND, she lost the exact same front bottom tooth that Ayden did! And exactly the same way! She did it all by herself! And now has lost the bottom tooth next to it too! Crazy these kids growing up on us!
Next step, Dyson.
