Our Festive Home

This is the very first year we have ventured outside with Christmas spirit.
Josh enjoyed the staple gun a little too much! Ayden had to "help".
Ian can't resist the tree. He started out in the middle of that blanket and ended up on top of the skirt, looking up at the tree. I bet it's a cool view from down there.
Our tree. This picture isn't very flattering, but it's lovely in our eyes.
We have a snowman theme.

Ian will get his stocking with his name after Christmas.
The one on the right says "baby's first Christmas, which Ayden had from Granny on his first.

This is beautiful garland from 3 different types of trees.

Maybe I should get a closeup so you can see the detail.

Let there be light!

Awesome house decorations! Maybe if I show David your pics it'll motivate him to put up some lights on our house...

Our cats always liked to sleep under the tree once we put it up. I think that would be an awesome place to take a nap.

Cathi, you're not alone. I think there are millions of wives around the world with the same dilema.
Jeni, I'm thinking about getting myself under the tree to check out the view. Maybe I'll bring a pillow and blanket and take a Sunday nap!

I'm fortunate to have a husband who likes to cook and help decorate for the holidays. Just don't ask him to clean 'cause you'll only get a half-butt job ;-)

Love the lights in the dark- they really light up your house! Your snowman theme is adorable as are your stockings!

Thanks, Lexi! The stockings were from last year's Pottery Barn after Christmas sale! I plan on getting one for Ian this year.

your outside looks great. three of our four neighbors right by us went all out, so we are not doing anything to avoid being embarrassed.
are you waiting for santa to bring ian's, or are you just waiting to get it on sale or something?

Everything looks great! I've really got to get on the ball. Lots of folks have their cute christmas decoration pictures up on their blogs, but I'm embarrassed to say that the Bonnette's don't even have decorations to take pictures of yet. I plan to get it done this week, though.

That is so awesome that Josh hung lights up for yall. Markus refused, so I had to do it myself. What kind of tree did yall get. It is so pretty. I didn't see any like that at the nursery. It looks like so much fun to have kids around to share Christmas with. Aww...

I knew those were PBKids stockings. I was about to order Markus and I some from PB.

Jenn, if you wait until after Christmas, you'll get a great deal on the stockings. Our tree came from the tree farm in Zachary. Robin, I know you understand all too well what a great accomplishment this is for Josh! Come see them at night!
