We made it safely through Hurricane *&%^^ Gustav!! We experienced close to 100 mile an hour winds throughout Monday afternoon. There are trees down everywhere in BR. We were a few of the lucky ones to have remained safe and to have had no extensive damage to our property. It was quite scary at times. I mean it was really frightening. At times, it sounded like a fleet of Blackhawk helicopters coming toward us. Trees snapped like matchsticks! Anyways, we're safe and sound. No electricity, it's very humid inside and out (Ayden & Ian have been slipping on our tile floors), but we're happy to be safe. We'll check back in the future.

To live in Louisiana, you gotta go get yourself a bucket trained woman! Josh, you are lucky. Stacy was brought up right, ya. Yeeehaw!!! Glad you guys are safe.
Glad all is well. Do you wish you had that tiny battery fan now, or are you glad you gave it up?
I'm glad you guys made it through okay. I overheard Brent telling his Mom on the phone that he had never experienced anything like that in his entire life. SCARY! Let's hope that we are done with hurricanes from here on out! When can we see you guys again? It's been entirely too long. I miss all of you!
Hope all is well in Gulfport. Keep us informed.
glad to know you're somewhere safe! time to relocate the family...mom and dad will tell you that there are no natural disaster issues in idaho. except for desert fires. anywho, enjoy your electricity. we love you!
We have been thinking about you guys down there. Then again, it has been snowing in Wyoming...but, sincerely, hope all is well and safe.
