Ayden's Mind

*picture pending*

Josh found a Jesus figurine at the dollar store and gave it to Ayden today. This morning, as they were driving to school, Ayden had the toy with him and asked Josh, "Daddy, can I play with Jesus in the tub? Because he can walk on water!" Josh immediately called me because it was such a classic moment!!!
You know, those 2-4 minute Family Home Evening lessons are sinking in! Remember that night, Doug and Amy? I remember Tristan getting so frustrated because none of us could draw him a picture exactly the way he wanted it:)

This is so Funny!
Will his faith be damaged when he realizes that Jesus will sink??

I love it! You gotta love how kid's minds work. Ayden is such a character!

The other day, I saw another blog where a little girl had had a tea party last year for her birthday. Because it was a tea party, she wasn't able to invite her guy friends because they wouldn't think wearing feather boa's and sipping out of tea cups was too cool.

So this year, she wanted a birthday theme where ALL of her friends could come. She told her Mom that she wanted a 'Jesus party' because everyone loves Jesus and they could all have a good time.

Mom thought it was pretty funny but thought she could come up with something else instead {because a Jesus party might be a little embarrassing to explain} until she heard from one of her friends that her daughter had already invited her friend's son to her "Jesus Birthday Party'.

I told her as long as they didn't have a Jesus pinata, they should be fine ;-)

Kids crack me up!

Speaking of birthdays, I hope 'E' has a good one this weekend! I bet you guys have a big BBQ planned and everything! Hope it's a good one and wish I could be there!

No bbq this time. Ian is too shy to have big bashes like we did with Ayden. We had to keep it small, or he'll go hide away somewhere sucking his thumb.

Hillarious! I too sympathize with your Valentine's at Copeland's story...going out on the day of Love is insane! I would much rather rent a movie and cuddle or something like that! Way to go on the card thing though....at least he shows that he cares or even remembers to care for that matter!

okay. so Eric and I got to visit with Mark Mabry for a little while Sunday night after the fireside. (I think I saw you there from across the room.) I think he and Josh are long lost siblings! Seriously! Hand the camera to Josh every now and then and see if he has talent. If he has ANY then I know they were twins separated at birth!!!!!

Amy, that's so funny, because I kept thinking the same thing when he was speaking. FUNNY! I need to get Josh over there to meet him.

I love that story. Good job mom on teaching him. By the way, there's an award for you on my blog!

Maybe there is an inflatable Jesus out there some where, might not walk on water but he'd float! (To keep up Ayden's belief). Out of the mouths of babes! What's to come?
