Out of scrap material. Without a pattern. I know it's not spectacular, but I'm proud of it. I was copying the pillowcase dress idea. I didn't have ribbon, so I made my own from yes, scraps. So instead of spending $20+, I spent ZERO!! I don't know if Afton will wear this in public, however.

That's awesome! I like the purple and gold. For your first try, I'm impressed.
Isn't it fun! Makes you feel like you've really accomplished something huh? Good for you. It's really cute too!
And to think GGrandma Afton wore dresses made from flour sacks because of the depression they made do cause they had to. (nice colored prints on the sacks for that very reason) Also made curtains and such from them too. Afton is like Marilyn Monroe, she would look good in a potato sack. Really cute and so LSU, Paw Paw pointed out to me.
Impressive! I think it's cute enough to wear in public. Then when people ask where you got it from you can tell them how you made it!
Every BR baby needs some LSU gear. Nice work lil' mama.
Nice. They seem pretty easy to make. My sister makes them, and sells them, but if you can, then do. i am going to make some appliqued onesies today!
