Almost a year ago, my mom began her fight against colon cancer. She went through chemotherapy up until December, and we've been waiting since then to know if it worked or not. Well, after a very long wait and a very hard year for all of us, she is cancer free!!! We love you, mom! We knew you'd kick that cancer's touche! Have fun with dad in Riggins. We wish we could join you two and celebrate.

What a relief! Congratulations to your mom and your family.
Yay! That is great news. I remember when she was first diagnosed and you went up there with the boys to help out and visit. Good to know that your visits from here on out will hopefully all be happy ones without medical turmoil weighing on everyone's hearts and minds. Plus, you need her to help you make cute little Afton dresses and costumes for Halloween for the boys, right? Not to mention making more beautiful paintings like the ones in your kitchen taht she created. I'm glad she's 100% again!
The whole 'C' business etc., was much easier to cope for me cause I have the most loving caring kids that a mom could ever hope for. Thanks so much for leaving your own fam responsibilities (with your spouse's support) and coming to me and yer dad's rescue during that tough-for-all-of-us-time.
That's great news Stacy!
