The Afton saga continues...

All day on Friday Afton seemed okay, so we didn't take her to the doctor. As our luck always turns out, she got worse over the weekend. Saturday she had a fever accompanied by blood curdling screams. This morning I took her in and for the first time in my mommy career I have a baby with an ear infection. To add to the record, it's in both ears, poor baby. That's right, most of my bloggy friends had it right! Thanks for the advice, again. She's on antibiotics and hopefully will be better soon.

I'm glad you figured it out - I've never had to deal with one of those either, I wouldn't even know what to look for!

I'm glad you know what it is--now she can get better. Poor little one! Next time it happens over a weekend, let me know--I have a home remedy to help relieve the pain that always works.

Poor babe, it is so sad when babes are sick, I just could't take it anymore, depresses me, glad y'all are raised. She comes by ear problems honest, you had more problems with ears than anything else as a babe, least you didn't have asthma!!!!

Little Afton! You've got to break the cycle! Your mamma's been to the doctor too many times with those crazy adorable brothers of yours. Tell those ears to feel better soon so that you can give your Mom and Dad the best baby smiles ever!

P.S. Tell your Mom that she is a craft wiz now. I love what she did with that diaper cake that was hiding in your crib.

ohhhh...poor little baby! I hope she's back to feeling better soon. The first time Jack had an ear infection, I didn't know it because Sadie never had them. Now we're on antibiotics for his SEVENTH one since March and I can pretty much sense when one is coming on! I'd like to know Lauren's remedy. Our appointment with the ENT isn't until November and all the pediatrician can do is tell me to keep cycling through antibiotics, give him tylenol, and watch him suffer.
