The Best Apple Crisp EVER

Sharing recipes on my blog is not my bag, BUT this is too delicious to keep to myself. I promise this will be the best apple crisp you have ever consumed. Thanks again Rachel Ray. I know she's obnoxious, but the woman can cook!

Ingredients:
8 Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced into 1/2 inch pieces
the juice of 1/2 lemon (don't use the fake stuff, get a real lemon)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, ground or freshly grated
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/2 cup fine graham cracker crumbs
(make your life easy and buy it already crumbled, thanks to Honey Maid)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 stick butter, softened
vanilla ice cream

Preheat oven to 400

In a 9 x 12 baking dish, combine apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and gr. sugar. In a small bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and butter together using the tines of a fork and your fingers, working until small even crumbles form. Sprinkle this mixture over the apples and bake 15 to 20 minutes until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown. Serve hot with a scoop of ice cream. Try not to eat it all in one sitting!

I'm a sucker for all things apple. Especially when baked with butter, sugar, and served with vanilla ice cream! You should try this recipe too:

I got it off my friend's food blog. I made a few changes, but it's essentially the same recipe. You should check it out:

Peyton says "Hot Dog!" for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse too!

Confession: Sometimes I dance to the Hot Dog dance when it comes on tv. It is just too fun for words! :-)
