Sweaty Hutch boys. We've been having great weather for a while now, and wouldn't you know that the humidity would return on our big day out. We met up with the Mangums and the Asays. I only managed to get pictures of my hubby, kids and the back of Kota.

Every trip to the zoo with my husband has a theme. When we were dating in high school, the Audobon Zoo animals were ALL getting it on. Not something that two hormone filled Mormon teens need to witness. Did you know that giant tortoises sound like roaring lions when they do their deed? We had another zoo date later on-post mission, in the year 2000-where Josh made every animal MAD. There was a monkey and a crazy bird that seriously almost ripped out of their cages to get him. This trip's theme: DO FEED THE ANIMALS. The spider monkeys may or may not have been thrown an animal cookie or two, and the giraffe above enjoyed some leaves that were not provided by the zookeepers. I was sure we'd be banned from the zoo, but no zoo employees witnessed the rule breaking. Should I be admitting this on our blog?!
Ian has always had a great goat/sheep laugh. I finally caught his talent on video.

The first time we took Cassidy to the zoo she fed the giraffes some grass with Cam. But they got yelled at. Apparently giraffes can rip fingers off with their tongues or something like that.
