Happy Fat Tuesday!!

I made Saints clothes for the whole fam. to wear to the parade. Too bad we didn't get to show it off, b/c of the COLD weather. I added a fabric fleur-de-lis and ruffle butt to black clothes Afton already had.

Josh found a great deal on a Cricut machine for me and I got it for V-Day. I immediately put it to work and made shirts for us all.

Josh's was made by my own handwriting and a pair of scissors. It was hard work. That Cricut machine makes things so much easier.
We went to the truck parades in Metairie. They are family friendly and they LOVE kids/babies. Josh just sat in a chair with Afton and the stuffed animals came flying. Ayden took 22 stuffed animals to give to his classmates today, and we still have about ten or so left! At 5 years of age Ayden finally experienced his first Mardi Gras parade. We all had a great time. We went with Robin & Brent, our friends the Kemps, and our friend Lindsay and all accompanying children. Total in our group: 7 adults & 8 children. We were so loaded down with junk, it was ridiculous! We had a lot of fun!! We found a great spot right by a group of people with Saints/Mardi Gras music playing and we were near a "pot o'gold" in case of emergencies. Everyone was sporting their black and gold to show their excitement for the Saints. Oh, AND Rachel Ray was the Captain of the first parade, so it was cool to see her and her husband up close. Now we are trying to recover from all of the excitement.

WHY haven't I made shirts with my Cricut? Great idea. I know what I'm doing today!

Isn't it rediculous how much stuff you come home with? Brad and i went to a Monday night parade in Metairie with the fam. The kids went to a total of 3 parades with their grands. I can't wait to get rid of all this STUFF. So much fun.

I'm the one just before Josh, mom. I guess my short hair makes me look like one of the boys.
