My friend Kim is a flight paramedic and had to go out on a call during Ian's party, so she had the pilot veer off the path a little and circle around our house a couple of times. It was....AWESOME!! We actually planned on going to her work and looking at the copter up close, but this turned out even better than we hoped-try imagining 6 families with cars full of kids trying to pack up and transfer the party to a second location. Glad that didn't happen. You can't tell from this picture, but they flew pretty low and circled around our house two or three times while we all screamed and waved.
Ian is such a sweet little man. I'm so glad he had a good party. We had some great friends in attendance and the kids had a lot of fun together. He had a good bunch of gifts too! Happy number three big boy!

Looks like y'all had a lot of fun! Tell Ian we said Happy Birthday!
That is so stinkin' cool! Yeah! How did that cake taste? :)
Just like my taste buds remembered it would, Jessica!
That's a pretty great looking helicopter cake! Props! What a cute little guy! Happy Birthday? He's already 3?!
Ian, that is the coolest birthday theme I have ever heard of or read about!
Nice work on the cake Mama! I can't even imagine how to accomplish that!
Your cake turned out so cute. Very creative! I'm sorry that we couldn't get Ian on a lil flight. But at least he got a personal "fly-by!" You will have to bring him by the station for his own personal tour in the near future.
Kim, I can't tell you how awesome and perfect it turned out, even though we didn't get to come there. We will come with the boys in the near future, for sure! Thank you, thank you!!
That fly by makes me excited just to know how fun for the kids, WOW Ian is 3, amazing, where did the baby go? Your kids look different, hard to explain, like I haven't seen them for a very long time. New camera, different diet, less sun??? Just as darling. Cricut, I'll have to have you do stuff for me.
