Potty Biz

Our new approach for Ian to get ready for potty training is school. He has to be potty trained by this August. A lot of potty training involves me being willing to keep a watchful eye on him and stay home all morning for DAYS until he is ready for public appearances. So, we're in potty boot camp. I have him "nakey" from his waist down and the potty is right in front of the tv, so he can sit there and watch "Shaun the Sheep" episodes. He went number 1 once already and came to me all excited. When I was cleaning it up he asked if he can go to school now. I had to explain to him that he's not quite there yet, poor guy!
As I'm typing this, Afton is inch worming her way to me! She's getting to be very mobile and can find the smallest legos/lite brite pieces/pixos possible. Okay, she's mad-gotta go.

***Update***
After day 1 he just now felt that he had to go, stopped what he was doing and went to the toilet! He went in his potty all day-except when we went grocery shopping-with only one accident!! I think he's ready for this, but I'm not going to have any expectations.

Good luck with all that. It doesn't sound like a pleasant experience.
