the Brief Life Of a Gingerbread House

Ayden and Kota helped me make a gingerbread house!
They took these snowmen off the tree and showed them their new home.
They could no longer resist the candy.
What's so funny, boys?
There goes the house. It lasted about 2 minutes. How else would the snowmen get inside?
Now that is pure bliss.
They each got their own rooftop to devour.
Why don't you have some gingerbread with that icing?

Frosting: good
Gingerbread: gag me!

I prefer the graham cracker variety.

Cute house and kids, though.

Martha Stewart in the house! I would never even attempt to make a gingerbread house...look at you! I am way impressed, I don't think I even have a recipe for gingerbread let alone actually made it!

I cheated. Robin brought over a super duper pre-made kit! Shh! Our little secret.

Mmmmm gingerbread! Love it. That was a cute house for 1.2 nano seconds! I'm sure it tasted as good as it looked from the way the boys were gobbling it as fast as they could! ;-)

those kits are awesome! make things so easy. But we normally buy better candy to supplement. lol

The same exact thing happened at our house. Except it is still in tack just most of the candy is gone! Via Emma.
