Profile with fist in mouthThere you have it. Girl? "Those look like girl parts to me, but I can't be certain." is the direct quote from the ultrasound tech. We have another ultrasound scheduled on Jan. 23rd, because our baby was non-compliant and didn't give us a good view of her spine, face, or umbilical chord. So, we have an indefinite result here. Having only experienced seeing little penis's, we are pretty sure that it is a girl, because from that same angle we have obvious male parts for Ayden and Ian. We'll be sure (hopefully) in another 2 weeks. Ugh. In the meantime, I plan on browsing around the other side of the children's clothing stores for the first time just to get familiar with some new colors!

Oh man! How frusturating! The technicians are usually pretty good at spotting those kind of things though {whereas I'm like "What are we lookin' at here?!"}. So if they thought it was a girl, maybe it is! Yay for little Afton {or whatever you decide to name her} ! :-) And yay for you!

I couldn't never tell with BOTH my girls. BUT- when it's a boy...IT'S A BOY! When it's a girl it's always inconclusive. They said the same thing with Elodie and look how she came out!
I'm hoping it's a girl for you...and AYDEN! Girls are so fun...but then again, we are ready for a boy!
That really looks like a girl to me! Both of my girls looked JUST like that on the ultrasounds. The way that the tech described it to us, is that it kind of looks like some little hamburger buns when it's a girl and that kind of looks like hamburger buns to me.
Well, Isabelle was not shy at all about showing us her stuff. It was crystal clear in all of my ultrasounds, but that is because the had her legs in a position that left no questions! Hang in there...hopefully you will know for sure soon!!

Now I have two new little girls to buy for (my sis is having a girl, too:)
P.S. I just showed Aaron and he said, "Oh yeah. Definitely." (But he wants to put a disclaimer that he's not an authority, besides being the daddy of a little girl. He is a dentist.) Little hamburger. Yep.
Probably a very shy girl, like her namesake.
Yay!! You are not going to believe this, but as I was clicking on the link to your blog from my blog, I was thinking to myself, "I wonder if they have found out if its a boy or girl yet?" and my question was answered! Thanks for the quick response :)
I am super excited for you. I'm with the other folks, looks like a girl to me. It looks like, with the shot that you got, if it had been a boy, you would've been able to tell.
Looks like a girl to me too. They were sure about Lily from the beginning. I can't tell you how many shots I have of her little "area". Since I had high blood pressure, I had to go at least every month I think for ultrasounds to check on her. Every single time I went, I got a shot of her little hamburger bun with an arrow pointing to it saying "It's a Girl" Needless to say, she was never shy about showing it. It got to the point were I wanted to ask them to stop pointing to it....were knew she was a girl, we didn't need an arrow pointing to her each and every time. Anyway, long story short, it looks like hamburger buns to me! Congrats, I know the boys are excited.
I forgot about the hot dog vs. hamburger bun concept. That is so funny! That definitely looks like a hamburger to me.
Travis, I am NOT having twins, even though those comments have already started. I had a lady ask me yesterday when I was due. When I told her "May", she asked if I was having twins. Thanks a lot lady.
After having two girls of my own...Stace I'd say it's definitely a GIRL!!!! Maybe a little of my plotting is getting in there since if it's a girl all of our kids are perfect matches....he, he! Any girl names picked out? We miss you tons!!! YAY for girls!
This is highly frustrating. I've been waiting for DAYS for this news and all I get is a "?" So much build up and then...."?"

I can't see her woohah. (That's what our cousin LaDonna calls it). I would trust the ultrasound tech. They see it everyday. TWIN BOY'S!! That's funny Trav. I love the little, tiny, itsy bitsy fist. That's cute.
I didn't know you were pregnant. I guess I haven't been to Beth's house much since my new one was born. Congrats! I vote girl, too.
Alrighty. I have to say it looks more like a "hamburger" to me than a "turtle." HA! That is what my doc told me about boy and girl parts on the ultrasound. Funny, huh? I hope I see a hamburger on my next pregnancy! Tee hee.
