More bows. I know, I know...

My usual down time is while Ian takes his nap and I fill that time with propping my feet up and reading or blogging. Well, that pattern has changed recently. I've been being crafty and trying out this bow thing. It's been fun. Josh keeps laughing at me, because he's never seen me get so focused on a hobby. I've learned a lot with advise from family and friends and from browsing the internet. I've become friends with my glue gun. We have each other figured out now. I figured out that I prefer sewing the middle of my bows, rather than using wire-my mom taught me to sew buttons and mend clothes when I was pretty young, so I guess I just feel more comfortable with that. I've also been checking the Gymboree, Children's Place, Baby Gap, and Old Navy websites for the latest and greatest in girl clothes. I already have my eye on some outfits that I will wait to go on sale. That's no new thing, I do this with boy clothes too and have it down to a science. Patience is a virtue in my shopping adventures. So there you have it. That's where my mind has been for the past week. Oh, and I've been planning for Ian's b-day party and preparing for my first lesson to teach in Relief Society this Sunday-at least I got to choose the topic: charity. I could go on for days about charity. That's all now. The End.

Whew are you going to teach me how to do this? I think between all the moms in our group, we should open an Etsy shop. You make bows, I'll make tutus, everyone can make those cute boards we did before Christmas...

Great job! It's an addiction so be careful! You know you have it bad when you find the cutest RIBBON and then go shopping for an outfit to match the RIBBON! Yea, that's me! And it's worse with 2 girls because they have to match! ;) I'm so happy for you! Girls are so fun!

Faith, Hope and Charity. Somebody down south named her daughters those names. Wonder if they lived up to them? You could have take home bows for all the girls at Ian's BParty.

Watch. Now you're going to have a girl that constantly pulls hair barrettes/bows out of their hair:) I had to put stuff in Cal's hair when she wasn't paying attention or else she would search for it in her hair. She soon became wise to my tricks. So, now I just yell at her when she tries to pull her hair out...or she starts rolling around on the floor messing her hair up right after I fixed it:) It's fun though!

You are hilarious! Good luck with your lesson. I'm sure it will be perfect. Your little girl is going to have truck loads of bows by the time she gets here! I hope she has hair when she pops out so we don't have to wait long for her to wear them:)She'll be a bow-dacious babe!

Those are some super cute bows! I'm with Jeni - Allison won't let me put anything in her hair for anything in the world. I've tried sneaking it in, bribing her, threatening her . . . nothing works. I've heard that if you start them early with putting stuff in their hair, they don't mind so much.
