Must...Buy...Girl...Clothes.

Now, how was I supposed to pass up getting this cute tiny little dress
with those teeny ladybug shoes? Tell me. Look closely and you'll see the hair clip I made-clipped to the shoe hanger. I have some time to perfect that art. As soon as I do, you can rest assured that little Afton will have one in every color!
Poor Ian has to tag along with me and my shopping adventures. On this particular day, I was shopping for him-looking for birthday party ideas. I can't decide on Firetrucks or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. The latter seems to be an easier task so far.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE the ladybug stuff! And I'm jealous of your hairbow making abilities. I'm so not good at that. Poor Cassidy--she has to be a tomboy to survive her mom's ineptness!

LOVE the dress. I love ladybugs! Where did you find it? I have the perfect ribbon to make you the perfect bow to match that dress! As for the post below. Congrats that it's definitely a girl! Love the name too!
As for hot glue, I use it in all of my bows but only to attach it to the elastic or clips. I use craft wire to make my bows.

Don't worry. I'll make you some!

Oh, thanks Nikki and Lacey!! I was going to get craft wire, but forgot, so I'll have to get some and experiment some more. Gymboree has a whole lady bug line right now. Check it out.

Oooooo...you're checkbook is in so much TROUBLE. I'm predicting you will NEVER see that girl in the same outfit twice:)

Lacey, you're in luck because I actually tried to get some red ribbon with black polka-dots today, but there wasn't any. I WILL be making bumble bee, dragonfly and butterfly clips, however. I can't wait to see what you make! Your girls always have the cutest bows!
